When a neat, ordered chemical is change into a more disordered chemical, then there is an increase in ENTROPY.
Entropy refers to the degree of disorderliness in a reacting system. The degree of entropy is considered to be zero, when there is no disorderliness. The degree of entropy increases as the disorderliness increases.
