To express this fraction in exponential form we have to remember the following property:

[tex]\frac{a^m^{}}{a^n}=a^{m-n}[/tex]

Applying it to our problem we have:

[tex]\begin{gathered} \frac{3^9}{3^6}=3^{9-6} \\ =3^3 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So the exponential form of our fraction is

[tex]3^3[/tex]
