Slope means same as inclination of the line

then we have as data two points and its coordinates

(-3,9) and (7,17)

next apply the slope equation

m= Y/X. Where Y= y-y' and. X= x-x'

then

m= (9-17)/(-3-7) =-8/-10 = 4/5

its a positive slope ( goes growing from left to right)

and its value is 4/5
