Answer:

LET X & (X+1) BE THE 2 INTEGERS.

X^2+4(X+1)=64

X^2+4X+4-64=0

X^2+4X-60=0

(X-6)(X+10)=0

X-6=0

X=6 ANS.FOR THE SMALLER INTEGER.

6+1=7 ANS. FOR THE LARGER INTEGER.

PROOF:

6^2+4*7=64
